Back pains
Woke up this morning with a back pain! It was really weird and I struggled to sit up. I think it’s gym related.
Melbourne Secondment
I’ve been asked to go down to Melbourne this month, four days a week, to work at a client’s office. Nothing is confirmed yet – waiting to hear back from the client who hasn’t responded yet.
Dixit Dominus
Saw Jonathon Grieves-Smith conduct a concert of a choir he was guest-conducting in Sydney. Favourite was Vasks Prayer.
Started Actuarial Studying
I’ve begun studying for the Actuarial Exams in Sep/Oct. Had to order notes from UK!
What I’m Reading/Hearing/Watching:
- X-Men Apocalypse (film) – I really liked it. Not too slow, good story line, and good acting with McAvoy and Fassbender.
- Myths and Legends (podcast) – Recounts myths or legends from various cultures. The host and his story selection is very engaging, and told with a bit of self-awareness. Any episode is good.
- Most of What You Learned in Econ 101 Is Wrong – As in, factually speaking, just not what evidence shows to be true.
