Grease: The Musical
My sister was Jan (one of the Pink Ladies) in the musical Grease. The entire musical was awesome. Her accent was on point, and she had a cool duet too. Here’s a recording of the song, but not of her.
Ate Some Nice Food
Amy and Doug took me out to a delish Chinese place somewhere, but I can’t remember where it was. Could they tell me where it was?
New Phone
I got a new Samsung S7 phone.
Kitchen is being renovated
My roommate’s father has come to help renovate the kitchen in our apartment, so for now I’m relying on take away food and eating out for just under a week. The old kitchen was a remnant from the 80s.
Ate Some Nice Food (2)
Went out to New Shanghai, which is a great restaurant. We had really good food there: Nice drunken chicken and dumplings.
Karaoke
Went to karaoke with a friend. Was actually an unexpected invite because I just happened to meet him before he was going to karaoke. I also stayed out later and went to Marble Bar, which had awesome live music.
Donated to the Science Party
I’ve become a supporter of the Science (political) Party. They support economic reform, education, and better infrastructure.

What I’m Reading/Hearing/Watching:
- Her (film) – It’s from a few years ago, but I only just watched it. It was great! I wish I could portray a such a realistic future. I watched it on my computer, so I could speed it up, which was useful.
- Middle School (podcast) – From This American Life, it’s interviews from people in middle school. For me, so interesting to see how articulate these kids are.
